Our purpose is to educate members about wines from around the world, and to combine the wine tasting experience with a fine dining experience in which the food and wine pairings are identified and discussed.

The Basics
About our Dinners

We look forward to seeing you at our dinners, typically occurring on the third Thursday of the month, September through May. Club members enjoy exceptional food, friends, and WINE. Following the dinner, you can order your favorite wines at prices below retail.
At 10 am on the morning after the event you can find a flyer with the next month’s event menu and pricing in the clubhouse kiosks and on this website.
PLEASE NOTE: The deadline for a full refund is the SATURDAY before the event at 5:00 PM. After this deadline and until the following Wednesday at 5:00 PM, a refund will be issued only if the reservation can be filled by another member. Call Linda Smith at 805.428.7603 for changes or cancellations.

Wine Choices
Each dinner features five or six wines, one for each course of the meal.

The Reception
Each dinner begins with a chance to mingle and sip a specially chosen sparkling or still wine to get the party started.

Policies

MEAL POLICY The Wine Tasters Club offers a special vegan, gluten free entree each month. (Unfortunately, we are only able to offer vegan/gluten free for the entree course.) Check the monthly flyer for description.
In an effort to better manage special meal requests among club and private events, the following meal policy has been adopted. For health and dietary accommodations, if the special request can be accomplished with the main entree by serving the sauce on the side, then we will oblige to this request. Special requests must be done through the main contact for each event.
Special card(s) or label(s) will be provided for each requested special meal. No changes may be made within three (3) business days prior to the event.
SERVICE ANIMALS We follow the policy developed by the SCPD HOA, and paraphrased here. Sun City Palm Desert Community Association welcomes any well-behaved service animal in the company of its owner. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals
under the American Disabilities Act (ADA).
Service Animal Definition: Service Animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform specific tasks for people with disabilities
